A recount in the second congressional district showed inconsistencies according to a report released by the Lieutenant Governor’s office.“When we went to pull our results, we noticed they were slightly different than our first canvas,” said Tooele County Clerk Tracy Shaw .
“The ballots weren’t accounted for, the tallies just weren’t being generated in the report,” Shaw said. “I always compare it to conducting an orchestra,” she said. “It’s not uncommon for a race to come back and have it be off by a handful of ballots or a dozen of ballets depending on how big that race is."
