Southern California is getting ready to see more people out on the roads and at airports for Memorial Day weekend, known to be one of the busiest travel days of the year.
Amy PowellAccording to the Automobile Club of Southern California, a record 3.5 million people are expected to travel during the holiday weekend, which is a 4.7% increase from 2023.
AAA predicts this will be the busiest start-of-summer weekend in nearly 20 years, with 43.8 million people expected to travel at least 50 miles from home between Thursday and Monday.Best times to drive
