The hit horror film, which premiered on September 30, follows Dr. Rose Cotter , whose patient dies by suicide in front of her, cursing her with surreal visions of a smiling entity that takes on the faces of other people.
I think it would be just about pushing it further and exploring further. I mean, you have the whole potential murder thing that breaks the curse. Maybe something goes on with that. I think it could be fun to play with. And if they want me back as Joel to jump into that sandbox, I'm more than happy to come in and play. How was that for a non-answer?Will Smile 2 Happen? So far, there has not been word as to whether a sequel to Smile is going to happen. However, the film has become an enormous global hit off solid word-of-mouth and a horror-hungry audience that also helped make hits out of Scream, X, Pearl, and Barbarian throughout the year.
