On Sunday , opposing groups provoked each other - separated by a line of police outside Bolton town hall. One styled itself 'Enough is Enough: Stand up for Country', and the other was a group of counter demonstrators. Liam Powell Liam Powell, 28, of Hendon Court, Chorley, pleaded guilty to the possession of drugs, namely cocaine, after being stopped outside a pub in Bolton where there was ‘large scale disorder’.
Sentencing him to a 12 month community order, District Judge Hirst said: “This was aggravated by the high risk environment. The drug is associated with a lack of self control and violence. James Nelson James Nelson, 18, of Victoria Road, Horwich, Bolton pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage during the disorder in Bolton on Sunday.
“He accepts he was involved in this violence,” Ms Black said. “He brought a pink balaclava, though he was clearly identified by witnesses.
