A new study has revealed that one simple habit many of us do every day may be effective at reducing pain symptoms within the body.
On the other hand, the findings, which were published in the journal Frontiers in Pain Research, showed that listening to unfamiliar tracks didn't have the same effect. The participants were also presented with the pain stimuli whilst listening to "scrambled music", as well as silence, for seven minutes at a time.
Top Health Stories Today However, the scientists noted that one drawback of the experiment was surrounding how long each participant was listening to the music samples.
