Sideshow Collectibles has released a new series of Hot Toys Cosbi bobble-head figures based on the blockbuster film 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' The series features nine new characters, including Deadpool, Wolverine, Gambit, Blade, Elektra, Weapon Omega Wolverine, X-23 (Laura), and a mystery Human Torch figure.
While Captain America: Brave New World is on the horizon for Marvel fans, the excitement surrounding last year's epic adventure, Deadpool & Wolverine, is still palpable. The multiverse film, featuring Ryan Reynolds' Merc With a Mouth and Hugh Jackman's legendary X-Man, brought together two iconic characters to save the beloved shared universe. It was one of three films in 2024 to cross the coveted $1 billion mark at the box office.
This success has naturally spawned a wave of merchandise, from Funko Pops and action figures to Hot Toys collectibles. Now, Sideshow Collectibles has unleashed the next wave in their popular Hot Toys Cosbi Deadpool & Wolverine line with Series II. This series introduces nine new bobble-head figures, including Deadpool, Deadpool (Battling Version), Wolverine, Gambit, Blade, Elektra, Weapon Omega Wolverine, X-23 (Laura), and a Human Torch mystery Cosbi. Standing between approximately 7.5 and 9.5 inches tall, each randomly packaged box includes a special collectible card. This series joins Hot Toys' extensive collection of premium figures, which recently expanded to include Nicepool, Human Torch, and Blade. The film 'Deadpool & Wolverine' follows Wade Wilson, after years of waiting for a sequel, as he retires from superhero life due to his rejection from The Avengers. Wade finds himself a lonely car salesman until the Time Variance Authority knocks on his door with an irresistible offer. He must once again embrace his role as Deadpool to save his universe from a catastrophic threat. Realizing he can't handle this alone, he seeks out Wolverine's help. However, with Wolverine's death after the events of 'Logan,' Deadpool embarks on a multiverse adventure to find a new grizzled X-Man for this high-stakes mission. The film generated immense hype due to Jackman's return to the role of Wolverine for the first time since 'Logan' premiered in 2017. Every new trailer and piece of marketing only intensified the anticipation surrounding Deadpool and Wolverine's MCU debut. And the film exceeded all expectations. 'Deadpool & Wolverine' became the first MCU film since 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' in 2021 to achieve the $1 billion milestone at the box office, largely fueled by phenomenal word of mouth. With a certified-fresh critic score of 78% and a verified audience popcorn score of 94%, 'Deadpool & Wolverine' quickly earned its place as one of the most beloved films in the entire MCU. The film also served as a heartfelt and often humorous tribute to the previous 20th Century Fox Marvel films. 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is currently available for streaming on Disney+ alongside most of the MCU. You can also enjoy the film on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD.
