Josh Brolin is keeping the hopes high for fans who have been eagerly waiting for Sicario 3 updates and more.
Despite years of uncertainty surrounding its production, Brolin remains optimistic that the project is still on the horizon, even if fans have had to wait longer than expected., Josh Brolin acknowledged that the wait for Sicario 3 has been longer than anyone anticipated, but confirmed that the project still exists in development.
. “I keep hearing that it’s right around the corner. I know it’s there. When we do it, I don’t know when that is, but I know it’s there,” Brolin said. “So I’m excited about the prospect of it, but you can’t wait too long because we’ll have walkers,” he added. When asked about the delay, Brolin shared, “It’s just a really big corner. There’s a very small ratio on the steering wheel. At one point, I said, ‘I don’t think there’s going to be a Sicario 3. I doubt it’s going to happen.’ And then there was all this . Molly, Thad, and Trent came out and said something. So I also keep hearing that it’s right around the corner. I know it’s there.”Sicario 3 may finally be taking shape. “I mentioned at some point — I don’t know, maybe just to be contrary — I was like, ‘Yeah, never going to happen.’ And then the producers showed up… I just heard recently that it’s very, very real. So, cool,” Brolin said. While Sicario 3 remains without an official production date or creative team confirmation, Sicario producers Molly Smith and Thad Luckinbill of Black Label Media have also suggested that the film is close to moving forward.
