SAN ANTONIO - A suspected burglar got stuck in a chimney after trying to break into a home on the Northeast Side.Police said an officer saw the suspect breaking into the home. Police surrounded the vacant home and waited for a team to come and search the home. Upon the first search, police didn't find anyone, but on the second search, they found the man stuck in a chimney. Apparently, the suspect tried to escape by climbing up the chimney, but fell and got stuck.

The suspect was rescued around 9:30 p.m. from the chimney and checked out by paramedics at the scene. He was then arrested and charged with breaking and entering.
