A surveillance video captured a shooting on December 28, 2024, in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood. A Jeep driver fired multiple shots at a Maserati, but no injuries were reported.

A photo from surveillance video shows a man getting out of a Jeep before opening fire at the driver of a Maserati on the 10200 block of Linden Avenue North in Seattle ’s Greenwood neighborhood on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The shooting happened around 12:20 p.m. Saturday. The video shows a silver Maserati traveling slowly along Linden Avenue North before a silver Jeep pulls up and attempts to block its path.

The driver of the Jeep gets out of the vehicle before he pulls out a pistol and fires at least eight shots at the driver’s side of the Maserati. At least one other person appears to be in the Jeep, but they cannot be seen in the video. The man in the Jeep is seen getting back into the Jeep to pursue the victim's vehicle. The SPD said the suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s “with shoulder-length locks.” The man was last seen wearing a black hoodie. Seattle police said no injuries were reported after the shooting and responding officers were unable to find either vehicle after searching the area. Trey, who lives near Aurora Avenue North, spoke with KOMO News and described the scene. 'Right outside my window, there was a little bit of shouting, and all of a sudden the first shot got fired and then seven in succession shortly afterward,” said Trey, who didn’t want to share his last name. Rudy Pantoja, who works along the Aurora Avenue corridor, said, 'There’s a very small minuscule percentage causing hell and havoc in this community and others like ours in the city, and nothing seems to be getting done when it comes to accountability.''Actually prosecuting and putting these people away,” Trey added. “We have called and had these people identified, we have gotten them to the police
