Police are searching for answers after a quintuple shooting in the Chinatown-International District early Saturday morning.

Seattle officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of South Lane Street at 3:48 p.m. Police found multiple shell casings from inside and outside of a nearby hookah lounge, but no victims were found in the area. While officers were investigating, four people with gunshot wounds arrived at Harborview Medical Center in private vehicles. Another shooting victim called 911 from another location, the 2700 block of 4th Ave South, to report their gunshot wound. Police said the Seattle Fire Department treated his injury at the scene.
Four men and a woman were injured in the shooting with their injuries ranging from minor to serious condition, according to Seattle police. One man needed emergency surgery for his injuries.No arrests have been made as of Saturday morning. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation.
