The shear line will bring cloudy skies with rains to central and southern Luzon, while the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will affect northern Luzon, the weather bureau PAGASA said on Thursday.
According to PAGASA's 4 p.m. weather forecast, Mimaropa, Calabarzon, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to shear line.
The weather bureau advised for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains. Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with rains due to Amihan. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for the rest of the country will be moderate to strong, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
