Ramona residents Ron and Nancy Pritchett sold their 180-degree flashlight products during a Jan. 17 “watch party” of the “Shark Tank” TV show that featured their company, TripleLite. “When the pitch went well, then I went into a panic because the sharks kept asking questions and they did it quickly,” she recalled. As Kaminski’s BBQ customers watched the “Shark Tank” segment on a big screen, they laughed at a scene where the lights go out on the set. “They sued us for control of our company, but we fought back,” Ron Pritchett said on the show, adding that he and his wife are projecting flashlight sales of $1.5 million this year. “In August 2018, Nancy and I got our company back 100%.”The sharks said they were impressed that the couple got their company back and boosted sales, and that they had five utility patents with a design patent in 27 countries worldwide.
“It’s so exciting,” he said during his speech. “You have no idea what it’s like to walk through those doors.”Brandon Pritchett, who is the son of TripleLite owners Ron and Nancy Pritchett, watched his parents during the Jan. 17 “Shark Tank” episode.
