Just 24 hours after south-east Queensland was smashed with brutal hail and up to 98mm of heavy rainfall, residents are being warned to expect more to come from Friday afternoon.

“Another severe thunderstorm likely to produce large hailstones and damaging winds was detected near the area southwest of Eumundi. The Bureau has warned with the severity of storms sweeping through the region, residents should be prepared for potential disasters.
