A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in place for parts of northern Utah.

Officials of the National Weather Service issued the warning for central Salt Lake County and southeastern Davis County for 12:30 p.m. Saturday through 1 p.m. A severe thunder storm was reportedly located near West Valley City over the Oquirrh Mountain Range and is heading northeast across the state at 15 miles per hour.
