Several storage units at a Hurricane facility were damaged in a fire early Wednesday morning, Jan. 28, 2026. Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue said firefighters responded around 1 a.m. to reports of a fire alarm at Keep Safe Storage near 200 North and Old Highway 91.
"Due to smoke conditions involving several storage units, additional resources were requested," Hurricane Valley Fire said in a statement. Crews from Washington City Fire, Hildale Fire, St. George Fire and the Hurricane City Police Department all responded to the scene. Hurricane Valley Fire said several storage units were damaged, whether by the fire or by the smoke.
