A man has been taken into police custody after a seven-year-old was killed in a car crash in Devon.
The child was walking near a rugby pitch in Plymstock, a suburb of Plymouth, when the incident happened at around 11.10am today.Devon and Cornwall Police said a 55-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, and remains in custody.
