A Scots dad who was told he would never walk again after a horror car crash has taken his first steps following a gruelling seven year health battle
.
The dad-of-one was unable to speak or move and was transferred to the neurology ward at Woodend Hospital to remove the front of his skull in a bid to relieve pressure from his brain. After over two years in hospital, medics told Jamie he would never walk again. "He had to learn everything again. He had to learn to sit up by himself and eat. He had to learn how to speak."
"I have bad days and good days, but working to better myself keeps me focused and hopeful that I'm going to just keep getting stronger."
