Seton Hall picked 10th in Big East: 'They're just playing right into Sha's hands'

A year later, the new-look Pirates were picked 10th by the coaches and that sets up Shaheen Holloway’s team for easy motivation and bulletin-board material heading into the 2024-25 college basketball season.
“It is what it is, brother,” Holloway said. “People got time to sit around and pick other people’s teams, it’s kind of nuts. I’m not worried about nobody else. I don’t do it, I let my assistant coaches do it.”The Pirates have eight new transfers and two freshmen and Holloway has insisted he likes the depth of this team, and plans to play 10-11 guys
“It hurt us, we were definitely supposed to be in there, I feel like,” Coleman said. “I think it built us in winning the NIT championship and it was just history after that.”
