Seton Hall captains motivated by being picked 9th in Big East

Creighton and Marquette had three players apiece on the All-Big East teams and Villanova two, if you include Marquette’s Tyler Kolek being named Preseason Player of the Year. UConn, St. John’s and Providence had one apiece. The Hall did beat eventual national champion UConn last year and will open the Big East season against Dan Hurley’s crew,, on Dec. 20. They will also play Top-25 outfits Baylor and USC in the non-conference, providing NCAA Tournament resume opportunities.
