Seton Hall and Shaheen Holloway looking to prove skeptics wrong

Shaheen Holloway is beginning his second season as head coach at Seton Hall.

Shaheen Holloway’s Pirates finished .500 in conference play and tied for sixth in the Big East in the coach’s first season.

Holloway insisted that this feels like a different season after he rushed into the job last year right off of his Elite Eight run in the NCAA Tournament with Saint Peter’s. Additionally, the Pirates were ninth in 3-point shooting at 34 percent and ranked last in assist-to-turnover ratio.Holloway said he is working on getting Richmond, who suffered a back injury in a loss to UConn on Feb. 18 and missed the Big East Tournament, to be a better leader.
