A Seneca County man has been charged with three counts of second-degree rape.

The investigation into Wise began in December. Police said Wise was first arrested Jan. 20 and charged with third-degree intimidating a witness in relation to this case. Walter Wise, 24, of Seneca Falls was arrested Jan. 20, 2026 and charged with three counts of second-degree rape, according to police. Wise was arraigned and remanded to custody at the Seneca County Correctional Facility, police said.
