Forecasters are predicting this weekend’s storm to be similar to the winter weather that impacted central Pa. on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service is predicting similar conditions this weekend after many parts of Pennsylvania saw snow, freezing rain and/or sleet this week. Forecast ers with the National Weather Service are predicting yet another winter weather event this weekend that could be a carbon copy of what just hit the area.
Saturday night will bring more snow, freezing rain and sleet before 10 p.m. and freezing rain between 10 and 4 a.m. Sunday. Forecasters expect the winter weather to slowly transition into snow by early Sunday morning. A NWS forecaster said more snow should hit central Pennsylvania Monday night into Tuesday morning as well. However, it’s still too early to determine snow accumulations.
