NSW Police have made a further arrest in relation to the underground car park execution of a former bikie member who once boasted about living his life normally despite having a bounty over his head.

Yusuf Nazlioglu, 40, was shot up to ten times by a gunman inside his apartment's underground car park in Rhodes, Sydney's inner west, on June 27.

Detectives from Taskforce Erebus, who were already investigating other gangland shootings in the Harbour City, arrested a man during a police stop on Wednesday. Nazlioglu was in the car with his wife Jade when the alleged killers ambushed him in the underground car park about 6:30am. Picture: SuppliedPrior to his death, Nazlioglu, who was found not guilty of the fatal shooting of Comanchero boss Mick Hawi at a Sydney gym in 2018, heard of threats over his head while in Silverwater Prison for possessing a contravention of a firearm prohibition.
