While Donald Trump’s first indictment was a “joke”, the second one is “much more serious” and it’s certainly possible he could be convicted, says former lawyer to Donald Trump Alan Dershowitz.
“They have his own words and the words of his lawyers making incriminating statements,” Mr Derhshowitz told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“It is certainly possible he could be convicted – the constitution does not … preclude him from running as an indicted or even convicted or even imprisoned person – I doubt he’ll be imprisoned but it’s certainly possible.”
