Despite a relatively calm watch, the Seattle Seahawks' victory against the New York Jets reignited hope for the team's season. The game was filled with intense moments, led by Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, amidst a year that has been heavily scrutinized.
It’s funny, last week’s Seattle Seahawks game against the Arizona Cardinals carried much higher leverage than today’s game against the Jets did, but I was remarkably placid as I watched it. I think it’s because, even after the win against the 49ers, I had settled into a comfortable recognition that 2024 is, as I’ve said many times, a diagnostic year. But then they won, and scooted back into first place and in doing so, scooted my fragile, unprotected heart back into a place of hope.
