Field Gulls’ former podcast host Brandan Schulze and Mookie Alexander recap Sunday’s wacky 26-21 Seahawks win over the Jets.
The Seattle Seahawks looked like they were about to fall victim to a classic “trap game” against a bad opponent. After an early 14-0 deficit and some of the worst special teams play in the history of football, the Seahawks were able to rally for a 26-21 win over the New York Jets to improve to 4-1 on the road and 7-0 lifetime at MetLife Stadium.
What does this mean for the Seahawks? Well not only are they 7-5 and winners of three straight, they’re also alone in first place in the NFC West after the Arizona Cardinals had a last-minute loss to the Minnesota Vikings. They rematch Arizona in Glendale next Sunday with a chance to just about bury the Cardinals’ spirited push for an unlikely division title. Remember Brandan Schulze? He used to run the Field Gulls Podcast , and he’s still the lead host of the Sea Hawkers Podcast.
