A toddler who suffered a frightening hour-long seizure has reunited with the ambulance staff who saved her life.
Paramedic Team Leader Kerry Sweeney and Trainee Technician Scott Denny arrived 30 minutes into Penney's seizure and transported the infant to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Joanne, from Perth, said: “We’ve had many ambulances to our house for our daughter and everyone has always been great but that day will forever stand out for us."When Kerry and Scott arrived, it felt like a weight had been lifted. Kerry listened to everything I said about Dravet as it’s a rare condition. This was the worst and longest seizure Penney has had."
