This is the moment a gas cylinder exploded in a garden shed sparking a huge blaze on a Scots street
Emergency services raced to Corsmanhill Way in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, after the alarm was raised at around 5pm on Sunday. It's understood a number of "horrendous bangs" were heard by panicked neighbours before properties were evacuated.
Plumes of black smoke billowed up into the sky while fire crews scrambled to the scene. One local resident said: "We live across the street, it was scary. The fire exploded multiple times in these horrendous bangs, debris flying. Thankfully no one was hurt, I believe."A third added: "It happened at the bottom of our street. We all evacuated our houses even though it was at other end of the road.
