A gran has said she is at the end of her tether after a plague of giant slugs have spent months invading her home - even popping up in the cutlery drawer on Christmas Day.
Edinburgh Live reports that Rose managed to capture an image of the large slimy beasties outside of her home, where it had attached itself to her food recycling bin. She said: "They are very big and they are all over the garden and are getting into the kitchen through the back door. I am fed up of this plague of slugs getting into the house and I’ve been waiting a long time for an appointment so that someone can come and look at the issue.
