A heartwarming story about a school resource officer who took the time to connect with the children in his community during a snow day.

It was a snow day for virtually everyone in North Texas , and kids and pets got out and enjoyed the winter weather, some for the very first time. This is my daughter, enjoying her first Texas snow in North Richland Hills. Good afternoon, I know you are looking for photos for today’s snow day and are often on the hunt for items for the Something Good Segment. I wanted to share that Cottonwood Creek Elementary School Resource Officer Jim “J.T.

” Turner drove around the school’s neighborhood to check on his kids and ended up in a snowball fight with them today, creating special memories. Officer Turner is a Coppell Police Officer who works as the SRO at Cottonwood Creek Elementary every day when school is in session. He focuses on great relationships with his kids, as evident in the photos attached. I hope you will consider sharing.
