Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort in New Braunfels , Texas, has been named the "World's Best Water Park" for the 26th time., presented annually by Amusement Today , recognizes excellence in the amusement park and waterpark industry. The award is determined by an international poll conducted by the Arlington, Texas-based publication.
"It's always tremendously gratifying when our commitment to serving guests is recognized and celebrated, especially for an unprecedented 26 years," said Darren Hill, Vice President and General Manager of Schlitterbahn Waterparks.The 70-acre Schlitterbahn New Braunfels property is known for its spring-fed river setting, German heritage and collection of 45 attractions. The park recently added a new area called Schatze's Storybrook Park for kids.
"With our unique collection of attractions in a one-of-a-kind natural setting, there is no other waterpark like Schlitterbahn New Braunfels," Hill said. "Making people happy is what we do best, and we salute our park and team for consistently delivering amazing experiences to guests of all ages."
