Drivers who take State Route 315 along the Olentangy River between Columbus and Delaware will need to plan for a major closure starting this morning that is expected to last about four months. The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing a large stretch of SR 315 as part of a $3.
3 million project expected to take 120 days. ODOT says the work is needed because of erosion, and crews will shore up the roadway to keep it from slipping into the Olentangy River. The closure will be “basically from Home Road north.” ODOT suggests using Powell Road between SR 315 and U.S. 23 as a detour.
