NRL: Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo spoke to the media following their Round 23 victory against the Dragons.
Crichton made an official complaint after the game that the Dragons five-eighth bit him on the nose and left him bleeding.
Footage of the incident uncovered by Fox Sports was labelled as “hard evidence” by Mal Meninga that left “no doubt” over the claims, while Cooper Cronk said the footage was “damning”. Coach Flanagan responded to the accusations after the game, telling both The Daily Telegraph and the Sydney Morning Herald that he believed his son was innocent.“He’s not that type of person. Crichton can say whatever he wants. He shoved his head in Kyle’s face on the ground. They’re saying he bit him … come on.Crichton did not attend the Bulldogs’ post-match press conference, leaving coach Cameron Ciraldo to answer questions.
Ciraldo wasn’t willing to elaborate on Crichton’s accusations, saying he had only “just quickly” spoke to the star about the incident.“He’s getting a few things checked . I don’t know what to say about it really so we’ll leave it there.”
