KUCHING: Sarawak Governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife Toh Puan Raghad Kurdi Taib will hold an open house at the Astana here on the first and second days of Hari Raya.
In a statement on Wednesday , the Astana said Taib and his wife will receive Federal and state ministers as well as local dignitaries from 11am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on the first day of Raya."Those who wish to visit during the open house at the Astana are advised to be properly attired," the statement added.
Should the first day of Hari Raya fall on Friday, they will receive guests from 3pm to 6pm, and from 10am to 2.30pm on Saturday. If the first day of Raya is on Saturday, the open house will be from 10.30am to 4pm, and from 10am to 2pm on Sunday. "The public are welcome to attend the open house to celebrate Hari Raya," the Sarawak Premier's Office said, adding a request for guests to be dressed decently.
