Vice President Sara Duterte is hoping that Jose Rizal’s memories will always be remembered by Filipinos.
In a short statement on Friday, Duterte called on Filipinos to always treasure, remember and live by the national hero’s legacy and memory.
“And we hope that our young generation right now live their lives like how Rizal did live his life in the service of his community and his country,” she added.Duterte led a wreath laying ceremony at a Rizal Park in Davao City to commemorate the National Hero’s 126th death anniversary.
