The incident occurred on Monday when a portion of the wharf collapse d due to heavy surf from a major storm.
Officials noted that the wharf was undergoing a $4 million renovation following destructive storms last winter. Approximately 150 feet from the end of the wharf, including the former Dolphin restaurant site, collapsed into the water.
