In this photo from May 2024, travelers arriving at San Diego International Airport make their way to ground transportation. ): One thing I don’t see mentioned at all is current ridership on the two existing airport bus routes. Are those buses at full capacity, or is it simply the fact that the vast majority of airport users just prefer to go to and from the airport by car ?
“Shu, Mangan and others also talked about the prospect of a road charge or Vehicle Miles Traveled fee to discourage driving to the airport and help fund transit,” the article said. “They further suggested the possibility of charging a fee to drive to the airport.” The “only I know what’s good for you” hubris in these statements is appalling — how about voting for some politicians who will just fix the roads on which we drive to the airport, rather than trying to financially force us to do what they want us to do instead?Thanksgiving 2024: Store hours and what’s open and closed in San DiegoHow to roast a Thanksgiving turkey: times and temperatures to count...
