UPDATE: A Goodnight MS student has died after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot. SanMarcosCISD has cancelled classes for the campus for the rest of today.
San Marcos CISD has canceled classes at Goodnight Middle School for the rest of Friday after a student was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot. The district shared on social media that shortly after 9 a.m. Feb. 24, the campus was on a hold due to a medical emergency in the parking lot.
Parents and guardians can head to the center to pick up their child, says the district. Parents and guardians are advised to follow these steps:Pick up behind the tennis courtsThe community is asked to avoid the San Marcos High School area while Goodnight students are being reunited with their families.It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter to our Rattler Community.
