A 69-year-old woman has been sentenced to 10 years probation in the fatal shooting of one of her sisters. Dores Campos was charged with murder in the death of Patricia Saucedo , who was found dead June 10, 2023, at a home in the 2100 block of Chavaneaux Road in South Bexar County . Deputies found Saucedo lying on a bed with a gunshot wound to her chest. Another sister of Campos', Linda Blann , also was found dead in the home, but no charges were filed in that case.

Campos said she placed the weapon in a plastic bag and put it under a bed. Campos did not admit to Blann’s death. Guerrero said Campos will enter an assisted living facility. The case was heard in the 290th District Court.
