The afternoon temperatures are reaching the upper 90s but feel more like 106 to 110 degrees with the humidity. During the summer months, general comfort levels can be expected by using dew point thresholds: Less than 55 degrees: Dry and comfortable Between 55 and 65 degrees: Humid and sticky Greater than 65 degrees: Moist and oppressive What about rain chances? The subtropical high will weaken slightly over the weekend. On its southern periphery, a sea breeze will bring a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms daily, especially east of I-35.
