Employees in human resources, payroll and other nonclinical operations will move into the building at 6200 NW Parkway.
University Health has purchased an office building on San Antonio ’s Northwest Side for $28 million, expanding its footprint in the area. The public hospital district plans to move 325 to 375 employees in human resources, payroll and other nonclinical operations into the 142,500-square-foot building at 6200 NW Parkway, according to spokeswoman Elizabeth Allen and a memo to the Bexar County Hospital District board of managers this spring.
Construction to start on Texas A&M-San Antonio health care training facility The acquisition also allows the hospital district to set aside space for the expansion of a pharmacy medical therapy management program, a pharmacy call center and future initiatives, including evaluating setting up a centralized pharmacy warehouse and back-office support, a refill assembly line and a central sterile drug-processing center, the memo states.
