A man accused of shooting and killing a woman during a'takeover party' in a vacant Knights of Columbus hall has been arrested. Jonathan Arriola , 20, faces murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges in connection to the death of Desirae Rivera , 21, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said. During a Thursday afternoon perp walk, Arriola didn't reply when reporters questioned him. At about 4 a.m.
Bexar County sheriff: ‘Recipe for disaster’: Teen shot and killed at far West Side ‘takeover’ party Rivera was struck in the head by gunfire and died 'almost instantly,' the sheriff said. A 29-year-old man was also shot during the incident but survived his injuries. Salazar said homicide investigators executed several dozen warrants throughout the last several months leading them to Arriola, who they found in Brownsville with help from the U.S. Marshals.
