This follows an earlier incident where a 12-year-old was arrested for making terroristic threats over social media. He explained that these incidents often occur in waves and are typically seen more frequently after summer break. "They don't understand the gravity of their actions," he said. "They think it's just a click of a button, but they are causing substantial fear to many people."On September 1, the "Securing Children Online Through Parental Empowerment Act" went into effect, aiming to enhance online safety for children.As a father of four, Remmers emphasized the importance of parental involvement in monitoring children’s online activities.
