An East Central Independent School District bus carrying 32 students collided with an 18-wheeler early Friday morning, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said. School district officials said there were no serious injuries. The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. at 10505 U.S. 87 in southeastern Bexar County . An East Central ISD spokesman said it appeared the big rig rear-ended the bus.
Bexar County Sheriffs Office sergeant dies after suffering medical emergency during traffic stop 'Fortunately, all injuries were minor,' Brandon Oliver, the district's public information officer, said in a statement. 'However, out of an abundance of caution, students who requested further medical evaluation were transported by EMS to local hospitals.' Oliver said the district would continue to provide updates as more information became available.
