The Samsung Galaxy A14 looks like a refreshed A13 with a better selfie camera, security updates and a longer warranty. It goes on sale in Malaysia from 15th March 2023.
Samsung Galaxy A14 Malaysia Price
Similar to last year’s model, the new Samsung Galaxy A14 with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage is officially priced atin Malaysia. For greater peace of mind, Samsung Malaysia is offering Samsung Care+ 1 year extended warranty if you purchase the device from 15th March until 31st December 2023. The device is offered in 3 colours – Black, Dark Red and Silver and it will be sold on Samsung Malaysia’sOn paper, the Samsung Galaxy A14 seems to be mostly identical to the Galaxy A13.
For taking pictures, the Galaxy A14 gets a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro shooter. The previous Galaxy A13 had an extra 2MP depth camera which is no longer included in the Galaxy A14. For taking selfies, Samsung has bumped the front camera from an 8MP to a 13MP shooter.
Powering the device is a large 5,000mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging via USB-C. This is a dual-SIM 4G LTE device and it supports 5GHz 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1. Also included is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which also doubles up as a power button. Looking at the spec sheet, the Galaxy A14 box comes with a USB-C cable, a SIM ejection pin and a quick start guide. This means you won’t get a power adapter included in the box. Samsung Malaysia is promising four years of security updates and two major Android OS updates for this new budget device.
