A solid budget offering from Samsung Malaysia 👍🏻 SamsungGalaxyA14 TechNave
Under the hood, the Galaxy A14 is powered by the octa-core 2.0GHz Exynos 850 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. It is offered in a singular 128GB storage option and like many budget devices out there, you can expand the storage by up to 1TB using the microSD card slot.
As for the display, it’s a 6.6-inch Infinity-V PLS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The V-shaped notch houses a 13MP selfie camera while at its rear, there’s a 50MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup. The Galaxy A14 packs a 5000mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging via the USB-C port. Other notable specs include dual SIM, Android 13 OS via One UI 5.1, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and colour options of either Black, Dark Red or Silver.
Unfortunately, there’s no 5G connectivity but Samsung Malaysia does promise up to two OS updates and four years of security updates. In Malaysia, the Galaxy A14 goes on sale starting 15 March 2023 at RM799. Moreover, consumers can enjoy a free Samsung Care+ 1-year extended warranty if they purchase the device from 15 March until 31 December 2023, making the total warranty period 2 years.
It’s available for purchase in any Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Authorised Retailers and Samsung Online Store. As always, make sure to stay tuned to TechNave for more tech news and the latest tech releases such as this!
