Sainsbury's Nectar customers have been warned of a major change at eBay
Sainsbury's has delivered a two-week notice to Nectar cardholders after a significant change in policy. Shoppers have been told that, come September 1, the option to collect or redeem Nectar points directly through eBay will no longer be available, with the current linking between accounts set to be removed.
After the start of September, to continue accruing points on eBay purchases, shoppers will have to use the Nectar platform. Though this change will be frustrating for some, Sainsbury's has introduced a new deal for Nectar users that should help them boost their total number of points. This adjustment to its eBay policy will also carry a bonus, shoppers will now get double the points: two for every £1 spent, reports Birmingham Live.
