Sabah authorities seize 45 illegal timber logs

THE Sabah Forestry Department has seized 45 timber logs during two raids at illegal logging areas on two plots of government land in the state’s interior. Chief Conservator of Forests Mashor Mohd Jaini said the Keningau Forestry Region enforcement team arrested a man suspected of being involved in illegal land clearing and logging at Kg Kasuing, Keningau on Friday.
