KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Sabah Bersatu) hopes that the focus on state rights under Malaysia Agreement 1963 will be part of the agenda of newly appointed Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

In welcoming the appointment of their president Muhyiddin as Prime Minister, state chairman Datuk Hajiji Mohd Noor said Muhyiddin knows the needs of Sabah and would prioritise them.

“It is our hope that he will give priority to the development of the state and the people of Sabah who are still left behind.He said Muhyiddin's appointment had put an end to the country's political impasse and turmoil that had prevailed for about week.Article type: free
