Over the next three days, Craig tracked the cows’ movements with the help of family, friends, and community members. The volunteer group even deployed a drone, which spotted two thermal images Thursday night in the woods near Ballamor Golf Club, a public course in Egg Harbor Township. The ordeal came to an end on Friday when Darla wandered back to the horse farm two doors down from Little Rascals Farm. Meanwhile, “Maggie had to be wrangled quite literally rodeo style and loaded on to a trailer from the golf course’s main driveway,” Craig said in an email Friday afternoon.Jackie Roman is a health care reporter for NJ.com and The Star-Ledger.
